My love for cooking was instilled in my DNA. I grew up in a family with business that ran restaurants and cafés. My grandmother and aunts were world class self taught cooks. I still use some of their recipes in my work as their influence was great to me.
My culinary journey started at a very tender age. My earliest and fondest memory is when I cooked a Sunday meal all by myself at 8 years old it was by far my proudest moment. I cut my cooking teeth in my grandmother’s kitchen and never looked back. Since then I have been passionate and dedicated in perfecting my skills.
Specialising in global cuisine, I define my cooking style as traditional yet innovative Proudly South African cuisine. I’m also known to offer tantalizing, fresh and high quality internationally inspired dishes. I realize the importance of using the freshest ingredients and of the highest quality. Sustainable cuisine is very important to me, I therefore, prefer to source locally produced products.
